If like many of the millions of fans around the world you are an ABBA tragic then the place for you to be this year is the NSW outback town of Trundle on Saturday 4 May 2019. Why? Well because on that special day Trundle NSW will come alive to the only ABBA music festival in Australia and their music along with dancing and plain old good fun is the order of the day. The festival has become one of the most iconic events in NSW with ABBA fans arriving by car, buses and the famous ABBA Train to enjoy the music of ABBA performed by the world famous ABBA tribute band Bjorn Again. For those who don’t know Trundle it’s a pretty central western NSW town around 62kms in a westerly direction (best access is via the Henry Parkes Way) from Parkes. If you are still a little lost then you will find Parkes on the Newell Hwy between Forbes and Dubbo.
With plenty of accommodation options for caravans, camping and glamping at Trundle, and the many nearby towns of Tullamore, Condobolin, Bogan Gate or hotels and motels at Parkes, Forbes, ABBA fans can make a memorable weekend away and be part of an iconic Australian event as well as enjoying the best that Central NSW has to offer.
If you don’t fancy the drive out west then why not think of taking the ABBA train which departs Sydney and Parkes. It’s another popular and fun way to get to the Trundle ABBA Festival – the party starts as the train leaves the station.
So if you are looking for that something a little different but with plenty of fun then the weekend of the 4-5 May is well worth a go, I am sure you will find it a memorable experience, so then the 2019 Trundle ABBA festival is it.
