Autumn’s alive in leafy Lake Macquarie

March 18, 2021 by On The Road Team Leave a Comment

Sitting on the NSW coast north of Sydney between the Central Coast and Newcastle is beautiful Lake Macquarie.

With the help from the good folk at Lake Macquarie Tourism we are pleased to be able to visit some of the many Holiday park options and attractions in this most amazing coastal location. The Lake Macquarie region is located on the NSW mid north coast around 150 kms north of Sydney via the Pacific Highway. With holiday parks enjoying some of the most spectacular waterfront locations in and around Lake Macquarie, the region might as well have been made for those with a caravan in tow. Combine superb lakefront and coastal sites with a vast range of activities including fishing, surfing, bushwalking, mountain-biking and more and it’s easy to see why the new breed of holiday park is re-inventing caravan travel.
